aunt's review

i got a sparkly easter card from my aunt... mom's sis in New York.
she loved the book and said from the moment she picked it up...
she could not put it down. and thanked me for sharing my journey with her.
that mom and her are proud. that is the best review EVER!!!

she is the aunt who brought me my first barbie... my first oil painting set..
my first pair of riding boots...
she smelled of Germaine Monteil and i cried every time she left to go home.

fridays

fridays are always kinda hard. part of me is so glad it is the end of the week with
relax time ahead.. but part of me gets sad because i miss packing my hello kitty
bag , stuffing the car with goodies for mom and heading out early on saturday for our
weekend visit.
i loved the drive there...
springhill was always cooler... i can still smell the fresh mulch in her yard as i walked up to her
door... i can still hear her calling out "wait a minute.. i'm coming." we would hit Perkins
or Ihop .. Walmart... then dash through burger king ..just drive around and talk.
once we got home it was Lifetime movies... the juicy ones... and when the sun started to go
down i would make us a vegetarian dinner or order out... I can still hear that WHOOSH
of the living room curtains... when it got dark. i would look at her and say "ma where did the
day go?".... simple times but such precious times. what i would not give to pack my bag tonight.

is now a book!
